Harris is making the commitment to validate and certify the interoperability of not only our products, but of third-party products as well. The $2.5 million Harris Interoperability Lab in Toronto, the first of its kind, houses 43 racks of equipment spanning every major Harris Broadcast product line. The Lab validates and certifies the interoperability of Harris products and technologies, resulting in significantly improved product reliability and the delivery of efficient, tailored solutions that contribute directly to our customers’ bottom line.
At over 3,000 square feet, the Interoperability Lab is a purpose built environment that features a large central equipment room, a highly configurable master control area and a large meeting room. The Lab is a showcase for all of Harris’ software and hardware products. In this video, Stan Moote, Vice President of Development and Paul Briscoe, Manager of Strategic Engineering — Infrastructure and Networking, as well as Eugene Plawutsky, Product Level Manager, Master Control & Branding tell the Lab’s story — including the very positive response from our clients who have already visited.
Specifically designed for intelligence applications by experts in the broadcasting field, the Harris Full-Motion Video Asset Management Engine (FAME™) features an open platform to integrate third-party and custom applications for use by military analysts.
